Fern Flower - Blessing or Curse

It is all I ever wanted to
Just waiting for me to find
Hidden in the deepest woods

But there are voices praying
Trying to keep me away
Away from my wishes to come true

One of the voices, the strongest of them all
Encourages me to come forward
With a siren's voice

This is my entry for the Legendary Contest by
The idea is to be inspired by one of the Polish myths, legends or traditions - and I just adore this kinds of stories
I'm thinking about making a bigger series of Polish Legends - they are just so inspiring

According to the legend the fern flower only blooms during the Summer Solstice, the shortest night of the year
It is a rare opportunity and whoever finds it gets all the riches he could ever dream of
But there is a catch - according to one of the versions when you gain the power of the fern flower and have all your wishes come true, but everyone forgets about you
So is it a blessing or a curse?
Only the souls of those who perished can answer that.
